Our lunch group stared with 3 moms and 3 babies about 3 years ago.
And Friday we had 12 moms and 18 kids!!
It was our first annual (hopefully if I can keep my act together) Easter Egg Hunt.
I got to enjoy my favorite part, the setting up and decorating,
because 3 other girls fixed us a scrumptious lunch!
So thankful this Logan and his mommy were on Spring break and got to join the fun.
These sweet girls will have a new baby at their house in just a few more days :)
Before our egg hunt Levi had the opportunity to share with his friends why we celebrate Easter through our craft. Each family made a set of Resurrection Eggs.
As I opened each egg Levi explained the item inside the egg.
Egg #1 - a piece of bread - Jesus ate Passover Dinner with His friends.
Egg #2 - a cross - The next day Jesus died on the cross. Jesus' blood washes away our sins.
Egg #3 - a piece of cloth - They wrapped Jesus' body in cloth and put Him in a tomb.
Egg #4 - a rock - they rolled a rock in front of the tomb so no one could go in or out.
Egg #5 - empty - the tomb was empty when Jesus' friends went to check on Him. He is risen!!
Egg #6 - candy - He is alive! That is the sweet surprise of Easter.

On your mark, get set, GO!
Tucker was content in the car.
Proof that a pair of monogrammed bloomers are a must for girls in the south.
Mrs. Lindsay brought a surprise for the little kids...eggs with puffs inside!
Seraphine and Mary Kathryn enjoying their treats.
Iker!
What a blessing to watch Ella play in the sandbox for the 1st time!
We prayed & prayed for her safe arrival last year and soon we will celebrate her 1st birthday.
Several of us moms thought alike and filled the eggs with stickers...poor deprived children.
They will think eggs have stickers and not chocolate.
This girl has it made.
After our friends left I asked Levi what his favorite part was and he said, "Friends come to my's house. Have lots of friends, Mommy!"
